Final Fantasy 8 hits the market in 1999 for the PS platform. This game marked a departure from previous , as to the setting thereof. This takes place in a futuristic world , though it has elements of the medieval world (a feature of the games in the series ) . The game has as its protagonist a young student named Squall Leonheart , he obtained his degree of SeeD and assign some military missions. The story is as central to a sorceress named Edea , it has control of Galbadia President to attack neighboring countries. This situation is not overlooked and true resistance groups are created to oppose the expansionist desires of Edea , but the plot is more complicated than it seems . Edea is manipulated by Artemis, a sorceress from the future who want to take over the world . It is there that Squall and his companions travel to the future to face Artemis. The game features gardens , places where the plot of the game unfolds. The grounds are three: Balamb Garden , Galbadia Garden and The Garden of Tarabia .
